Dear Coaches, we would like to invite you & your team to the 2019 Hondo Cross Country Invitational being held on Saturday September 7th, 2019.

Race Day Schedule

08:30 AM - Varsity Girls
09:00 AM - Varsity Boys
09:30 AM - JV Girls
10:30 AM - 8th Grade Boys
10:30 AM - 8th Grade Girls
11:00 AM - 7th Grade Boys
11:00 AM - 7th Grade Girls

Times are approximate. We would like to keep a rolling schedule if at all possible.

Entry Fees

We want to simplify the entry fee process as much as possible. The cost for each runner is $15. You may enter up to 10 runners on a varsity team. JV and junior high teams are unlimited. Maximum entry fee per high school is $600. Max entry for junior high schools is $500. All registrations will be done through www.athleteguild.com

Award Categories

Varsity team championship plaques & medals to top 15 finishers. JV team championship plaques & medals to top 15 finishers.

Junior high: Team championship plaque & medals to top 15 finishers for 7th & 8th grade girls/boys.

Packet Pickup

Will be located inside or near the golf course club house. Course maps and other information will be provided to you when you pick up race packets. Please note that the club house will only be open to coaches and trainers. Athletes are asked to stay outside. We also ask that athletes stay off of any putting greens that are out on the course. We try to abide by the rules that the golf course has set.

Course

2 miles for Varsity girls, JV girls, junior high runners; 5K/3.1 miles for varsity boys & JV boys. We will try to make the course as close to the correct distance as possible.

* Portable men’s’ & women’s restrooms will be set up for athletes to use. There are no changing facilities on site. Water will be provided to your runners at the finish of each race. Camp site space is limited but we will do our best to accommodate your team.
