The Course
The Frankenthon will take place on the Brushy Creek Trail in Cedar Park. This is a mixed trail composed of pavement and crushed granite. If pavement isn't your thing, you will be able to run next to the paved sections on soft grass for most of the trail. There are a few bridges where you will need to be on the path.
The course will consist of 3 loops, approximately 8.75 miles each. If you have friends or family who come out to watch they will be able to see you multiple times as your cross through the start/finish area. There are some nice pavilions and a play-scape and sand pit for children spectators.
