The Rambler120 is a fun challenging event that promotes teamwork and competition so start assembling your teams and training for a race through the Texas Hill Country. The event consists of a 22-mile bike ride, a 6-mile run across and 2-mile raft at the JBSA Recreation Park at Canyon Lake on Oct. 14.  This adventure race includes several categories such as four-person Xtreme teams (must have at least one DOD ID cardholder), eight-person Relay teams (must have at least two DOD ID cardholders) and all active duty military Xtreme/Relay Military teams in three categories: all male, all female and coed. The event also includes category for individuals that want to participate.

All activities take place at Joint Base San Antonio Recreation Park at Canyon Lake.

Eligibility

Must be 18 years of age and older to participate.
Xtreme Teams much have 1 DOD ID cardholder and Relay Teams must have 2 DOD ID cardholders.

Entry Fees

Early Bird Registration (until September 15, 2017)

$100 - Xtreme team (4 person team)
$150 - Relay team (5-8 person team)
$25 - Individual

Regular Registration (after September 15, 2017)

$120 - Xtreme team (4 person team)
$180 - Relay team (5-8 person team)
$25 - Individual

The fee covers a BBQ lunch, commemorative t-shirt and awards for the top two teams in each category.

Rules

Each team must have 4 team members on the course at all times
There are designated areas for substitutions of team members
Each team must provide their own bikes, helmets, eye protection and team vehicle
Race issued rafts must be used * Canoes must be used for Individuals*
Life preservers and paddles will be provided (teams may use their own) *
