Sibling rivalry is something that everyone with a brother or sister is familiar with.  My younger brother and I definitely know a thing or two about it.  Together, we decided to put our competitive efforts toward a cause that we both personally believe in.  My name is Miguel Martinez and my brother, Matthew Skinner, and I created Beard vs. Beans; a fundraising event which benefits The Alzheimer’s Association.  I hate beans.  Matthew has a beard.  Last year, my brother and I challenged each other to see who could raise the most money for the Alzheimer’s Association.  If Matthew won, I had to eat a bowl of beans.  If I won, Matthew had to shave his beard.  The event ended with a barber and some clippers. In our continued efforts to help ENDALZ we bring you The Longest Day 5k with Beard vs Beans.

The 5k will begin at Comanche park and will have medals for all the finishers, amazing shirt and a great time with our sponsors. All profits will benefit the Alzheimer Association.
