40 Cans for Lent Mission Statement:

40 Cans for Lent is God’s plan to feed the hungry people of the world. God calls us to do his work through the Knights of Columbus. Through God’s compassion, grace and mercy we will work tirelessly to unite his ministries under a single unified cause, to end hunger and feed the hungry. During Lent we are called to make our own sacrifices to honor the sacrifices our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ made to wipe away the sins of the world. During Lent the Knights of Columbus call our brothers and sisters to make their own sacrifice by putting aside 1 can a day everyday during the 40 days of Lent leading up to Easter to feed the hungry. On Easter as we realize our Lord Jesus Christ’s resurrection we hope to realize our dream of wiping out hunger.

5K RunWalk - $30, $35 after January 29.

Top 3 by gender and age group

Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

Overall and Masters awards will be based on gun time. Age-group awards will be based on chip time.
