We are very excited about our races on Sunday, May 18, 2014! We have one early Early Packet Pickup session: Saturday, 4:00-7:00 pm at the Plum Creek Community Center, 450 Haupt, Kyle Tx 78640 Day of Race Start and Finish for all 4 races is at 5940 McNaughton, Kyle Tx 78640 If you haven't been to Plum Creek before, turn in on Witte and drive all the way down the hill until it T's into McNaughton - you'll see us there... There are restrooms at the Pool and there will be Port-a-potties at the back of the school. 5K/10K - be in the chute by 6:40 for a great warm up! 5K/10K race starts at 7:00 a.m. sharp! 5K water stations: Mile 1, 2, and about 2.5. 10K water stations: Mile 1, just after Mile 3, just after Mile 4, and just after Mile 5) 3K race will start on the street in front of the school at 8:30 (this will be announced). Water station: approximately Mile 1 1K race will start at the 5K/10K starting line after the 3K makes the first turn (this will be announced) Refueling will include water, powerade, fruit, and granola bars Wifi credentials for Hays CISD are: login: haysguest and password: hays2012 -- take pictures and share!We will try to do awards as each division - 5K and 10K - finishes. 3kers and 1kers under 18 will receive a finisher award - they are so cute! Did we forget anything? Last minute questions- give Jennifer a call or text me at 512-376-8089 by Saturday evening! She doesn't answer her phone or texts on race day morning, so come find her or Leata if you need them. Jennifer will be the one in the white hat with orange flowers and Leata will be the one in the HEB shirt! |
