About

Sport Orienteering meet at South Side Lions Park and Highlands High School.   Orienteering is the sport of land navigation—often held in unfamiliar terrain—using a map and compass.  Similar to cross country running but you can create your own route choice between control points.

Meet details and registration at the Lone Star Orienteering Club web site.  Four courses from beginner to advanced with distances 2.3 to 4.3 K.  Start times begin at 10AM.  Parking at Highlands High School.
