Remember how races used to be when the running craze first started? The Country Roads 10K is one of those races. Thats right... "We dont need no stinking chip timing!" Just a challenging course in a closed -in, country-like subdivision: a great T-shirt: tear-tag scoring; a swimming pool for post-race dip and some nice door prizes in addition to the awards. And its all managed by experienced volunteers from the San Marcos Running Club; a race put on by runners for everyone.
Presented by Subway of Central Texas. 10K Run and Kids Run. The 10K will start promptly at 8am; the Kids Run will start at 9am while the 10K is finishing.
