October is national Domestic Violence Awareness month. Nationally 1 in 4 females will be affected by domestic violence in their lifetimes. 74% of all Texans have experienced some form of domestic violence or have a friend or family member who has experienced it. Bexar County has the HIGHEST rate of reported domestic violence per capita in Texas, along with one of the highest in the nation.

Designed for the entire family to run/walk in honor of a victim, survivor or in memory of all those who lost their lives to domestic violence.

Erica Gonzaba will be performing The National Anthem followed by a balloon release. A Wall of Honor will show support of loved ones who have been affected by domestic violence.

Schedule: 7:30am - Registration and packet pickup
8:30am - 5K Run/Walk
Entry Fees:

$30 Early Registration ends 10/19/14 
$35 Late registration 10/20/14 - 10/24/14 **Online registation closes at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th.  You may register at Soler's Sports from 11-6 at Packet Pick up and receive your packet then. Or register on race day.**

$40 Race day registration on 10/25/14

Children 10-12 years (with chip timing): $20

Children Ages 9 and under: Free

Dog: $8 (with bandana)

Teams of 5: $125

Goodie Bag will include: PURPLE drawstring backpack, PURPLE wristband, Event Shirt and PURPLE arm sweatband.
