START TIME: 7:00 a.m.
RACE DISTANCES/DESCRIPTION:
400 meter swim: Your race starts with a gorgeous dip in the lazy river as you navigate the scenic swim loop sans the jets.
10 MILE BIKE: You will carefully exit the swim and head over to Transition 1 to hop on your bike for a fun 2-loop 10 mile ride on the ultra smooth TPC Parkway with only one hill right before transition 2 for the run.
2 MILE RUN: Next up, end your race with a tranquil run through the lush grounds of the resort to a fabulous finish on their grand lawn, surrounded by beautiful views, lush lanscape and peacefull waterfalls.
LOTS OF COOL SWAG TO BE ANNOUNCED IN THE NEAR FUTURE :-)
Post race celebration and awards to top off your race as you relax with yummy food and pampering (more pampering coming in 2013).
Timing Chip: Event is chip-timed. We will provide the chip.

ACCOMMODATIONS: To make your race experience even better, we hope you take J W Marriot up on their discounted rates just for us and reserve a room for the weekend. They have offered us a limited number of rooms at great rates so this is a nice opportunity to enjoy this fabulous resort.
Rates are $159 ($199 for deluxe room type). Normal room rates are $359, so still a great deal!
We ask that you please limit your reservations to one room per family as we want as many of our race participants to have a chance at these rate.
After you register for the race, a direct link will be given to you in the confirmation email for reservations and rates. Please do let us know if you don't recieve a confirmation email from us in a reasonable amount of time. Also, make sure to check your spam or trash folders as well, sometimes our emails end up in there :-)
WE WILL UPDATE THIS PAGE OFTEN TO LET YOU KNOW IF THERE ARE NO ROOMS LEFT, AS CALLING THE RESORT DOES NOT WORK AS SOME KNOW THE STATUS AND SOME DON'T, SO IF YOU DON'T SEE THE ROOMS ARE FILLED ON HERE, YOU WILL BE GOOD AND GET A REGISTRATION LINK AFTER YOU REGISTER FOR THE RACE.
