Both races feature open water swims in one of the Man made Ski Lakes that make up the San Marcos River Ranch. Both Bike courses ara a one loop course that is set in the San Marcos area along lightly travelled roads. The Run course loops around the Ski Lakes and finishes underneath the Majestic Oak trees along the San Marcos River.
