Come join Stand Up Paddle North Texas (SUP NTX) and the 1st anticipated Texas Ultimate SUP Classic / SUP & Kayak Races.This awesome event is set for June 22 & 23, 2013 in the beautiful historic City of Grapevine, Texas.

Come see the high-energy races, spirited fanfare, and experience a Stand Up Paddle (SUP) & Kayak EXPO that is the heartbeat and pulse of a global lifestyle. The Texas Ultimate SUP Classic is a flat-water SUP & Kayak venue that includes races and demonstrations for all ages and skill levels. From beginners, to family and company relay teams, to high intensity competitors.

EVENTS OF THE 2013 TEXAS ULTIMATE SUP CLASSIC (TUSC)

Spectator Event Tickets: Day of Race Meadowmere Park Gate.

$5 per Adult - per event day or $8 for a 2 day ticket

Kids are FREE

(All competitors receive entry ticket with registration.)

SUP Expo (Saturday June 22 & Sunday June 23):
Meet and greet people from all around that love water sports of all kinds. See the latest in SUP & Kayak equipment, accessories, check out the latest designs and innovations. Naturally there will be demo SUP's, kayaks & paddles of all shapes and sizes available for those who want to perfect their stroke or even try SUP or Kayak for the first time.

Open Age SUP Race: (Saturday June 22):
Open to everyone! The course is a Diamond Course, fun and moderately challenging four-mile paddle. Entrants can race on any board of their choosing 14' or 12'6" & under, competing for Trophies & prizes.

Open Age Kayak Race: (Saturday June 22):
Open to everyone! The course is also a Diamond Course, fun and moderately challenging four-mile paddle. Competing for prizes.

Kid's SUP Races & Adventure Kid's Camp Zone: (Saturday June 22):
If your kid is open to maximum fun, have him/her enter the Kid’s SUP Race. Kid’s SUP Races will have boys & girls age-groups (8 & under, 9 & 10, 11 & 12,13 & 14 and 15 to 17). Kid’s will be racing for Texas Ultimate SUP Classic prizes.

Open to all kids age 17 and under. 2 race courses, beginner to intermediate.

Distance SUP Race: (Sunday June 23):
The Distance SUP Race will have SUP Classes (12'6" & 14') competing for prizes. Racers can also enter in their age-group categories in the 12’6, 14’  classes. The Distance Race course is a challenging 9 mile course from Meadowmere Park around the Island and back (2-laps). This race could be in challenging winds.

Distance Kayak Race: (Sunday June 23):
The Distance Kayak Race will compete for prizes. Racers can also enter in their age-group. The Distance Kayak Race course is a 9 mile course from Meadowmere Park around the Island and back (2-laps). This race could be in challenging winds.

SUP Relay Race: (Sunday June 23):
A crowd favorite and super fun event that includes prize money. Recruit some family members, friends or make colorful fully sponsored team and give it a go! Each team must have at least one female relay member.

 

SUP Sprint Race: (Sunday June 23):
Also a favorite and super fun event. The 1 Mile SUP sprint race that will separate the master sprinters from the "I think I can go faster". A mad dash at full speed!

 

Meadowmere Park
The event is held at Meadowmere Park, Lake Grapevine. The park offers the ideal venue to accommodate huge numbers of athletes and spectators.

Event and SUP/Kayak Races will be held rain or shine!

Everyone who enters The TUSC SUP or Kayak Races will receive a competitor event bag & event tee.
