National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation 5K Walk

The National pancreatic Cancer foundation present the first annual united in purple 5K in the scenic rock climbing park. Join us, Saturday, November 16 as we walk to promote awareness, honor the survivors, and remember those sweatpants from pancreatic cancer. This year, it is estimated that over 55,000 people in the United States will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer, is the third leading cause of cancer related death in the US. It is often referred to as the silent killer, as symptoms generally do not present themselves until the later stages of cancer. In an effort to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer and fun the programs, we are having our first united in purple 5K in Texas!
