On November 9th, do your body a service while supporting all the brave men and women who have served our country. At the Team RWB Veterans Day Series, participants will put feet to the pavement alongside military veterans who have returned from combat. With a 10K, 5K, 1K Kids Fun RUn and 1K Family Fun Run option, the VDR Series offers a distacne deisgned for every type of athlete and takes runners and walkers along much of the Ironman Texas run route. The flat, paved orute provides multiple views of beautiful Lake Woodlands and finishes through shady pine trails. The course features four hydation stations to keep races energized and multiple cheering stations to keep them motivated! Following the race, mix and mingle with the honorees while enjoying food and refreshments and indulge in some family-friendly fun!
The race series is comprised of a 10K, 5K, 1K Kids only and 1K Kids & Parents running together. OR as an added twist, form a team - your church group, your company, etc. and compete as a TEAM!!
