San Antonio Walk for Autism

Join Us in celebrating!
We did it! In 2011 we broke the record for the largest charity walk! Unfortunately we lost our title. 2013 is our year to regain it! Recruit your neighbors, family, and friends and come celebrate with us as we Walk for Autism, reclaim our Guinness World Record title, and help raise awareness.

In 2013:
-[/b]Over 100 resource tables for adults and children[/b]
- [/b]SAFD[/b] and [/b]SAPD[/b] will be providing safety information to families attending
- New Health and Wellness Area sponsored by: [/b]Any Body Can[/b] and [/b]YMCA[/b]

- Activities for the whole family

Registration will be available race morning at 7:30 AM. No packet pick up on event day!

Any Baby Can's Autism Services will be hosting the 9th Annual Walk for Autism. The walk will be April 13, 2013 at 8am and will take place at the AT&T Center. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness for the growing numbers of families in our community that have a child with autism. All proceeds from the walk will stay in the San Antonio area to help fund the services provided by Any Baby Can's Autism Services.

The autism program provides parent education for those individuals that want to learn more about autism and their child's specific behaviors. Any Baby Can also provides the an Autism Support Group which provides monthly education and support for families with a child diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. Families also access individual and group counseling with a licensed psychologist. All of these valuable services are provide free of charge to families.

Your cooperation and assistance in the form of a donation is greatly appreciated and will go a long way to support families facing autism.

All donations must be turned in by April 12th noon to be counted towards Top Fundraiser Award.

Donations received after April 12th noon will still be credited to corresponding participant/team but will not be used towards Top Fundraiser Award.
