About The Event

Any Baby Can's Center for Infant and Child Loss will be hosting the 10th Annual Jon's 5K Run/Stroll. Jon's Run will be on May 12, 2012 at 8am and will take place at Brackenridge Park. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the Center for Infant and Child Loss (CICL). In 2008 276 infants and children died in Bexar County. These families were left with shattered dreams and a grief no parent should ever experience.

Any Baby Can's CICL is San Antonio's #1 resource for helping families through the difficult time following the tragic loss of a child. The CICL provides funeral assistance, individual and family grief counseling, and a support system where they can relate to other parents experiencing a very similar loss. Additionally, the Center provides extensive education to reduce the risk of injury to infants from child abuse and unsafe sleep practices. The education efforts target healthcare professionals, prospective parents, childcare providers, and other basic caregivers. All of these valuable services are provided free of charge to families. Your cooperation and assistance in the form of a donation is greatly appreciated and will go a long way to support families
