Run to Hear

In June 2011, a group of profoundly deaf teenagers realized their dream of raising funds to help provide cochlear implants for others who might not be able to afford them. The Run to Hear 5K was so successful that the teens decided to make it an annual event with the goal of raising money not just for cochlear implant assistance, but to help hearing impaired individuals access whatever services and equipment they need, regardless of ability to pay.
