5K Run/Walk presented by Gruene United Methodist Church to support local food ministries: Steve's Pantry and SOS Food Bank. Steve's Pantry is the food ministry at Gruene UMC which feeds hungry families and children who may not have access to other food resources. Our current ministries combined feed approximately 250 people a month. The SOS Food Bank has been serving the New Braunfels area for over 25 years and they serve on average 500 families a month. We will also be donating a portion of the funds to the Hays County Food Bank. Your participation will help feed and love others in need! Register by Feb. 13th to recieve a shirt sized to order. Awards will be given for the overall male / female runners as well as for the top three runners in each age category for males/ females 5yr age groups.We will also have a free kids fun run (no registration needed, no t-shirts provided).
