The Lake Houston Area Chamber's 2013 Lake Houston 10K/5K presented by Memorial Hermann Northeast is in full swing. The fourth annual event will begin at 7am, Saturday, August 24 at Kings Harbor on Lake Houston.
Lst year's event proved successful with more than 800 runners from across the state and country, some from as far away as Kenya, participating in the run. This yar the Chamber is preparing for 1,000 participants. So come out and enjoy the beauy of Lake Houston Area.
An award ceremony will follow the run with a prize of $500 awarded to the overall top male and female runners in the 10K race and $250 awarded to the overall to male and female in the 5K race.
