All proceeds go to support the Texas Police Chiefs Association Officer Death Benefit Program.
The Texas Police Chiefs Association Foundation provides funds to individuals through the Officer Death Benefit Program. If a Texas law enforcement officer is killed in the line of duty, the Foundation, as soon as possible, delivers a check to the surviving spouse, children or parents, whichever is applicable.
No application process is used, only the notification to the Foundation of a qualifying death and the appropriate person to whom the check is made out to. The law enforcement officer does not have to have been a member of any specific law enforcement agency nor does the officer have to have been a member of any law enforcement association. The purpose of the donation is to provide immediate funds to a family in time of crisis.
