Come celebrate Diez Y Seis with us in Beeville. This Run-Walk is presented by HEB and Bee County Fiesta Diez Y Seis. This year we have a Kids 1K, 2Mile Walk and 5K Run-Walk. Bring your entire family and have them all participate in one of our events. New this year: all 2Mile Walk and 5K Run-Walk Finishers will receive a Sombrero. The Run-Walk is on the parade route for added safety. Proceeds benefit Coastal Bend Community College.

Children Ages 3 and Under do not need to register for the event if they are participating with a responsible registered Adult 18 and Over. Families are welcomed to participate. Strollers are allowed on the course but should place themselves at the back of the Start Line. For everyone’s safety, pets are not allowed on the course.

You will receive an event shirt if your register for the 2Mile or 5K by Monday, September 1, 2014. Registrations after September 1, MAY receive a shirt. Please specify your size when registering. Sizes are not guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate you.

Awards:
5K Run-Walk - Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters (40+) Male and Female, Overall Grand Masters (60+) Male and Female plus 1st / 2nd / 3rd Age Group awards for Male and Female.
2Mile Walk – Male and Female 1st / 2nd / 3rd place Overall. No Age Group awards for the walk. You must walk the entire 2miles, please do not run any part of the course. If you wish to run and walk, please enter the 5K.
Kids 1K - All finishers receive a ribbon

Packet Pickup:
Friday, September 12 from 3pm to 8pm at the HEB in Beeville. The HEB is located at 100 E. Houston St, 78102.
Race Day Registration:
Saturday, September 13 from 7am to 8am at the Bee County Courthouse. Please register now and save or register at Packet Pickup.
Timing:
Electronic chip timing for the 2Mile Walk and 5K Run-Walk by Pendgo Timing. You will be issued a disposable timing chip attached to your race bib at packet pickup. The bib and chip are yours to keep. You will not be forced to stand in a line the morning of the event waiting for someone to give you a chip. You will also not be chased down after the event by someone trying to cut-off your chip. Pendgo Timing uses the most state-of-the-art timing equipment and is a local area company.
