DESCRIPTION:<p>The first running of the Got Your Back 5k was in 2014 to celebrate and provide support to Texas State Head Athletic Trainer\, David Gish\, as he fought a battle against cancer.&nbsp\;David lost his battle\, but we continue to run the race to honor David and support other families and Texas State Alumni as they fight against cancer.</p>
 <p>Proceeds from the race support the David Gish Memorial Scholarship and students enrolled in the Texas State Master&#39\;s in Athletic Training program.&nbsp\;</p>
