Get ready for a full day on the Guadalupe River! The Guadalupe Kayak Adventure is a supported, point-to-point paddle starting below Canyon Lake Dam and giving kayakers three distance options so you can choose how big of an adventure you want.
This is not a race. Paddle at your own pace, enjoy the river, stop at the aid stations, and take on the distance that fits you best.
Choose Your Distance
- ~6 Miles — Finish at Rio Guadalupe Resort
- ~11 Miles — Finish at Mountain Breeze Campground
- ~16 Miles — Finish at Hueco Springs / 1st Crossing
Distances are close estimates and may vary slightly based on the route taken on the river.
How It Works
Rio Guadalupe Resort will serve as the main event headquarters for parking, shuttles, and the post-paddle gathering.
The long-distance group begins at 8:00 AM, with shuttle transportation helping get paddlers to and from the appropriate locations. Along the river, we’ll have support at key locations and aid stations where you can grab drinks, hydration, and snacks before continuing downstream.
Experience the Guadalupe at its best — beautiful Hill Country scenery, crystal-clear water, and a steady 300 CFS flow (flow subject to change) creating near-perfect conditions for an unforgettable kayak adventure.

Your registration includes event shuttle transportation, on-river support, aid stations with snacks and hydration, breakfast, lunch, and the after party at Rio Guadalupe Resort.
