Lace up your running shoes and join Firehouse Animal Health Centers for the inaugural Zoomies 5K Fun Run on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Brushy Creek Lake Park! Whether you're a seasoned runner, casual walker, or simply looking for a fun morning with family and friends, this event is for you.
Bring the whole family—including your well-behaved, leashed dogs—and enjoy a community-focused event celebrating the special bond between people and pets. Participants will enjoy a scenic 5K course while helping support pets cared for by Texas Humane Heroes. Proceeds from the event will be donated as in-kind funds to support veterinary services and medical care for Texas Humane Heroes pets in need.
Join us for a morning of movement, community, and plenty of zoomies as we run, walk, and wag our way toward making a difference for local shelter pets.
Packet Pick up will be at Firehouse 183 (13616 N Hwy 183, Ste C, Austin, TX) October 2nd and 3rd from 2pm-5pm!
