The City of Round Rock's Parks and Recreation Department will hold the inaugural Night RIde Family Bike Ride from 9PM to midnight Saturday, Aug, 3 at Centennial Plaza in downtown Round Rock.

The Night RIder Family Bike Ride is a non-competitive family bike ride and block party at night thrugh Round Rock. Night Rider is a unique, exciting ride and party.

It is not a race! Bicyclists will be allowed to ride at their own safe pace. Police support and volunteers will be along the route.

Glow-in-the-dark bike gear and flashing lights are encouraged. First 400 Night Riders receive a drawstring bag and glow-in-the-dark gear!

The ride will start and finish at the Centennial Plaza (located behind the Baca Center and the McConico Building) and tour around the City, all under the Texas stars.

Per state law, bike helmets, a front bicycle light and rear reflector or bicycle light are required.

Light Your Ride Contest- Spiff up your bike with glow-in-the-dark gear and flashing lights of all colors. There will be a prize for the best tricked out bike.

Feature Pit Stops- Multiple sponsors along the way add fun to the ride.

Family Block Party after the ride- Live Music featuring Blue Finger Disco, refreshments, family activities, including an inflatable obstacle course, facepainting, lawn games, children's crafts, and more.

Bicycle Safety Check- Don't let your bike ruin your ride, Tire and brake checks and helmet checks courtesy of area bike shops.
