Welcome to our 1st Ever Tour De Brew! This Charity Bike Ride was created when a group of buddies finished a ride down Krueger Canyon Road in New Braunfels, TX. Coincidentally, or intentionally, the route they took was the critical link between two great brewing establishments in Central Texas; 5 Stones Artisan Brewery and Guadalupe Brewing Company. This route became a regular Saturday ride for the group and was an instant hit! 5 Stones and Guadalupe Brewing decided to make it official with a collaborative Beer to salute those cyclists who, each Saturday, did the Krueger Canyon Run in less than 12 Parsecs! (nerd alert!)
So, in celebration of cyclists everywhere and all things Beer, the Tour De Brew was born! This Charity Bike Ride will benefit St. Judes Children’s Ranch and AFJROTC Boosters, both 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. There will be two routes to choose from offering distances: 12 Miles and 6 Miles. The 12 Mile is for the more experienced rider. The 6 Miler is a great ride for the whole family or those new to cycling. This route will have a Guide to start the peloton at 9:10AM.
Riders will start and finish at Guadalupe Brewing Company on Wald Road in New Braunfels, TX. The route will meander along Krueger Canyon Road with beautiful vistas of the Texas Hill Country. Rest stops, with refreshments, will be provided for both the 12 Mile and 6 Mile Loops. The ride will finish at Guadalupe Brewing Company for Food, Fun, Music, and Refreshments. Sign Up Today.
