The popular 5K race through the tree-lined streets of ROllingwood will start at 6pm from the entrance of the Rollingwood Park. Runners, walkers and strollers of all ages are welcome and every participant over age four will receive a "Life is Good in the Wood 5K" t-shirt and an event bag full of coupons and invitations to explore local shops, restaurants and businesses.
The Rollingwood Park pavilion area will host outdoor activites for all ages before, during and after the race. "The 5K race is just the start of the fun," Morrow continures, "Once you cross the finish live, there will be prizes, food vendors and toms of fun activites will keep the festivities rolling". ive music from Tanya Winch and dinner will be available from Peached Tortilla and Rita's Italian Water Ice.
The "Life is Good in the Wood 5K Run/Walk" is sponsored by the Rollingwood Women's CLub and the club's largest annual fundraiser, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting the Rollingwood Park and recreation areas.
