About

What is a climb event?

It is a family/community event with a DJ, a health fair/expo, family entertainment and more!  Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. and you can register the day of the event as long as you pay the $25 fee along with your $100 minimum fundraising requirement.  The climbers will start going at 9:00 a.m. and everyone will be assigned a time slot when you and your team will start because we have to do it in waves.  We give out awards for the fastest times according to gender and age group and for the top fundraisers as well.  We close down 4th Street and have a street fair going on while everyone climbs and there will be a health fair/vendor expo going on as well.  Please visit our website at http://www.lung.org/pledge-events/tx/austin-climb-fy14/ to find out more information about this event.  We do have practice climbs to prepare for the event so check our website for times and dates.  Also, be sure to like our Facebook page to keep up with what is happening with events leading up to the climb.  https://www.facebook.com/AustinClimb?ref=hl

Where does the money go?
