SMPOA Dash 4 Donuts

What:
Dash 4 Donuts is a 4 mile race along the streets of Old San Marcos.  Race Route here

When:

Early packet pickup, Friday, April 28, 5-8pm at Police Department Auditorium/front lobby

Race Day is April 29, 2017. 
Race Day Packet Pick up and walk up registration (cash or check only) 6:45 to 7:45 a.m., near start line on Edward Gary (between LBJ and San Antonio St)
4 miler starts at 8:00 a.m.

Kids' Dash will begin at the conclusion of the 4 miler.  Approximately 9:10 a.m.

Where:
Near the 100 block of S Edward Gary, San Marcos.  Parking is limited, so it is best to carpool or walk to the starting line (if you live close).  Some parking is available across the street.

How much:
$25 for adults (19 and over) and $15 for students 18 and under (discounted rate based on age will calculate during checkout). 

$10 Kids' Dash (10 and under)

 

Why: 
This event seeks to raise funds which will create a San Marcos Police Officer’s Benevolent Fund and SMPOA Scholarship Program to benefit local high school children of SMPD Officers.  Mostly, we’re really all about getting individuals, families, and friends all out to the starting line on race day for a great time celebrating victories and movement!

Extra Notes:

We are RAIN or SHINE

Start and Finish is at 100 Block of South Edward Gary

Prepare for the weather!  Check the temps before you come and dress for your best race

Parking is limited -- carpool!

Race starts at 8:00 a.m. sharp and is chip-timed!   

Awards ceremony will occur as soon as results are tallied.

Switches, subs, corrections can all be made on race morning at the timing tent

All participants of the 4 miler and Kids' Dash, 10 and under, receive a finisher token. 

Online registration closes 4/26/2017 at 5:00 p.m.
Must register 4/15 to guarantee your shirt!

There will be a street festival going on before, during, and after the race!  Some vendors will be selling items with proceeds going to SMPOA and some will be giving items away.  Bring some cash!
