Do you know about the modern day slavery crisis? Are you aware that as you read this, there are approximately 200,000 slaves in the US? Those are human beings who are OWNED by another human being. They have no voice. We have to speak up for them! Freedom Collective, an anti-slavery organization, is puttin on this race to benefit the A21 Campaign. A21, an End It Movement Coalition partner, works to rescue, rehabilitate, and educate victims of human trafficking. It is our honor to give 100% of runner's registration fees directly to A21. Freedom Collective will be using A21's "Bodies Are Not Commodities" education program to bring awareness to the San Antonio area. You can help us do this by running or walking the End It Race! This trail run will not be like most. You won't be jarred the whole time from rocks under foot. The course is mostly flat and the trail is easy. The views in this area are absolutely gorgeous!! It will be a great day for runners and walkers alike. Come along and check it out! Each runner will receive a t-shirt and can feel great knowing that they have just run to END IT! **You MUST register before 8/31/14 to guarantee a shirt.** |
