Brief Description
This 6.4 K run starts at Raymond Rimkus Park in Leon Valley, goes through
the Leon Valley Natural Area, through hike and bike trails, and around the
Natural Area again to finish at the Huebner-Onion Homestead and Stagecoach Stop,
across from City Hall in Leon Valley. The Leon Valley Natural Area features
300-year-old trees and native flora. Much of the run is on the trail in the Natural Area.
Fees
$27.00 for adults, $15.00 for high school students

Additional Information
Registration starts at 7 a.m. in Raymond Rimkus Park, where there is free parking.
Additional free parking is available at the Leon Valley Community Center. The 1862
Homestead was the home of Josef Huebner and his family, and the Leon Valley
Historical Society is dedicated to its restoration as a living history museum and
headquarters for the Leon Valley Natural Area for the Leon Valley Natural Area.
Funds from this event will support those restoration efforts.
